12776.) To the consistent BlogSecret topics of boyfriends and kissing:
1. It doesn’t matter how old you are, a first kiss is just a first kiss, and it will probably be a better first kiss or mean more when you’re older. I pity people who have their first kiss too young for it to be magical for them. Don’t fret. It will happen. I know how you feel, I felt like I was missing out until I had my first kiss. Then, when it happened a couple years ago, I knew it was the perfect moment and it had been waiting for me for 15 years. So whether you’re 15 like I was, or 17, or 21, or 30, know that that moment is waiting for you.
2. To the “I wish I had a boyfriend” or “I’ve never had a boyfriend” posters: relax. The way to find a boyfriend isn’t stressing about it or looking for one. You’ll find the guys you’re meant to meet and date in your life without worrying. Just be yourself, hang out, and have fun. Learn to love yourself and it will be easier to fall in love. Men are attracted to confident, carefree women who are fun to be around! If they hear you moping about wanting to be in a relationship, that’s not the right vibe. Enjoy being single.
So very true. I had my 1st kiss at 16. I don’t regret my 1st kiss…I regret staying with him for so long after :P. And yes, confidence is sexy. It’s difficult to love someone if you don’t love yourself. A happy and healthy relationship is between two happy and whole people who compliment one another, and don’t rely on their partner to complete them. Learn to love yourself…don’t think you need relationship to be a complete person. The cliche is absolutely true: real love will find you when you least expect it.
